Sometimes commission instructions are worth waiving the fee. I'm kidding of course. I would never ever waive my fee. Unless, of course, the commission came from a beloved cousin. Which sadly this one did. Sigh. But I did get to draw a fighter jets 'sploading a volcano, so that's fun.
This week my client asked for a Where's Waldo themed brochure staring a character based on "Lana" from Archer.
I think she might be my new favorite client. No offense other clients, but maybe you should step up your game now that the bar has been set.
I have regained some breathing room at work and have rewarded myself with some scrumptious Vampire TV. Last month I posted an info-graphic about sad dead Jeremy Gilbert. One of my favorite comments about the comic ("It's like Supernatural, but with Jeremy! - Testgubbar). I was asked nicely if I could make something similar for the other TVD characters (I'm looking at you WheresPersephone, Morphinecowboy, and Luckyduck13). Since, to date, none of my comics have included the glorious Vampire Barbie I am rectifying that terrible omission today. So here ya go: The Caroline Forbes Story (or at least the bits I vaguely remember).
