This comic on Incidental Comics by Grant Snider just wrecked me today. My daughter and I had the rare free day together before our mutual work/school holiday ends. We dedicated the whole day to elephants. We pretended to be elephants. We constructed a paper elephant. I made an elephant out of Jello. That is a thing I did today, no joke. We watched Dumbo on Netflix skipping the both racially insensitive and terrifying acid dream scenes. Then we read Babar and ate peanuts. About halfway through the day I considered that our lives and ideas will merge with increasing rarity as she grows. I am glad that we had our pachyderm day and I think I will remember it for the rest of my life.

Much like an elephant.
